Although Roadtrip was officially created in 2000, the groundwork was laid a decade earlier. While in high school, I began tracking my own running miles by applying them to a route on a wall map. This technique helped motivate me during the cold, dark winter months in Cleveland before track season began.
The inspiration behind the Roadtrip web-site was to provide a method to motivate an individual to begin and, subsequently, maintain a fitness routine. Running, throughout my life, has been a valuable endeavor beyond words. It has kept me fit and healthy. The consistent presence of my running routine has kept me focused in school, career and family.
The listing of articles that I have included on our homepage is intended to educate you about the benefits of physical exercise so you can both validate your own commitment and become informed enough to convince your friends and family to do the same.
Today, Roadtrip is used by hundreds of individuals running, walking and biking their way across a virtual roadtrip. They are individuals reconnecting with family, inviting friends, and raising money for many worthwhile charities.
Best of Luck and Best of Fitness,
